DMP Guidelines

.) SUBMISSIONS- There is a small fee for having material/works placed on our website. This fee will be prior to the actual placement of said material/works.

.) COPYRIGHT- You, the client, will be responsible to ensure that your material/works have been registered with THE LIBRARY OF CONGRESS COPYRIGHT OFFICE. (Not doing so will be at your own risk as Intellectual Property has always been in need of protection and is extremely important in the present case.) We at DEMIGOD MUSIC PUBLISHING will not be held responsible for your neglecting to do so. A person dealing with intellectual Properties such as these covered by this website should become fully abreast with the copyright laws (See Contacts and Links).

.) OWNERSHIP- Ownership will remain yours (the owner) UNLESS such is transferred via written instrument. Only the owners and or representatives of such may submit material/works. It is against the law to use, publish or sell copyrighted material/works that does not belong to you without the proper authorization and therefore copyright infriging material/works are not wanted and DMP WILL NOT be a willing participant in any violation of such. (Any and all material/works that come in question of such will be immediately removed until the issue is resolved and verification produced.)

.) RIGHTS- It will be solely up to you whether EXCLUSIVE or NON-EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS of your material/works are released to buyers/licensors. You and or your representatives will be responsible for assuring that the agreements for which you may make are in accords with what you desire and that any and all agreements are done so via written instruments duly sworn.

.) GUARANTEES- We at DMP make NO GUARANTEES that your material/works will be sold or licensed out. The success of your material/works is something that revolve around factors for which DMP has absolutely no control. All transactions will be at your discretion. This is why we at DMP emphasize the importance of having your material/works protected by copyright registration (though this itself is not full proof, it does give you legal ground to enforce.)

.) PAYMENT- All purchases or advance payment transactions shall take place here at DMP. There shall not be any personal contact information contained with in your lay-out as any attempt to circumvent this system and or defraud DMP of our commision will result in termination of the party/parties involved account(s) and removal of all material/works of such. The commission for which we will earn from the transactions of such material/works is (20%) twenty percent (specific's in DMP Contractual Agreement.)

.) CREDITS- Whether or not you retain the right to have your name included in the credits of the completed versions of works created with your material/works is something that depends solely on the creator/author.

.) FINALITY- Once an agreement has been reached and all business has been transacted, said item(s) will be removed from the website (unless otherwise desired by the new owner.)

.) RESTRICTIONS- It is prohibited to infringe upon the legal rights of other's copyrights, patents, trademarks (names & secrets) or to conduct in any activity that is in contrast to state and federal laws of the U.S.A. and or other participating countries.

.) LIABILITY- It is your responsibility to assure that your material/works and or agreements made does not infringe upon the legal rights of DMP and or others. Just as it is your responsibility to enforce any violations believed to be committed against you. DMP CANNOT assume ANY responsibility in any manner for violations and SHALL NOT be held liable. Furthermore, it is hereby agreed that if for any reason such shall occur, you (the client) agree to indentify, defend and hold DMP harmless from any and all actions, cause of actions, demands, claims, liabilities, expenses, losses and or damages arising out of or in connection with any claim deriving of anything previously mentioned. This includes legal and attorney fee's incurred due to such.

.) TERMINATION- In the event of violations of any of the previously mentioned, insolvency, reorganization, bankruptcy or the sell of DMP, termination of agreement may be executed immediately. Otherwise clients may simply give written notice. It shall be noted that certain stipulations may apply as will be found within your contractual agreement with DMP.
